When I was about seven, my dad tried to teach me how to ride a bike with no training wheels.
When I’d peddle, he’d hold the seat behind me. But when I picked up speed, he’d let go.
Once I realized that he had let go, I’d panic and begin steering all over the place. Afraid that I’d fall, I’d stop peddling.
But when I stopped peddling, he’d say to me, “Even if you begin to fall, don’t worry, because I’m going to be right there to catch you!”
Likewise, even if you feel as if you’re falling, even if it seems as if your life is spiraling out of control, you don’t have to panic, because God is right there to catch you.
