Last season I began watching the very popular TV show, entitled The Voice—a reality show singing competition in which the chairs of four coaches are facing the audience, with their backs to the singers as they perform.
During each singer’s performance, if one of the coaches is interested in a particular singer, he or she presses a button on the chair, and thereby turns the chair toward the singer. When the chair turns around, the bottom of the chair lights up and reads: “I WANT YOU.”
Now, here’s some good news for you. Even when your chair is not turned to God, God’s chair is always turned to you. Even when you’re not thinking about God, God is always thinking about you. Even when you’re not there for God, God is always there for you.
God wants you!
