As a kid, when I went to the playground, I used to love getting on the merry-go-round.
The merry-go-round was a large revolving ride.
At the merry-go-round, one kid was designated to spin the ride around. While the ride was spinning, I would try to jump on the ride.
But if you didn’t want to injure yourself, you had to time your jump just right. That is, as the merry-go-round was spinning, you tried to jump in the opening between the handrails.
Every now and then, God will give you an opening—a moment, a chance, an opportunity. When an opportunity opens for you, don’t just stand there. Jump.
