When I was younger, I used to put jigsaw puzzles together all the time. Every once in a while, however, I would try to force a piece that didn’t fit. I would bend and even damage the piece, trying to force it to fit where it doesn’t belong.
I failed to realize that only the right piece fits in the right place.
There is a space in the puzzle of your life that only God can fill.
Money can do a lot of things. But there is a void even money can’t fill. Your network, your platform, and your connections can do a lot. But there are some things only God can do for you. If God doesn’t do it, it won’t get done.
In Psalm 127:1, the songwriter puts it like this: “Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD guards the city, the guard keeps watch in vain.”
God is the most important piece to your puzzle.
