A few years ago, I watched the movie Zero Dark Thirty, which chronicles the hunting and the elimination of Osama bin Laden.
Near the end of the movie, members of the Navy Seals raid the compound where bin Laden is located—at night. In this scene, they’re wearing military night goggles, which allow them to see in the dark.
The night goggles enable them to see what they would otherwise be unable to see.
Likewise, when you’re stumbling in the dark places and through the dark seasons of your life, trust that God is able to see what you are unable to see.
You may see up to the corner. But God knows what’s around the corner. You may see up to the top of the hill. But God knows what’s on the other side of the hill.
Don’t allow your faith to be limited by what you see, because God can see what you cannot see. Even if you can’t see the way clearly, trust that God is ordering your steps and directing your path.
