Last year, I shopped for a new refrigerator when my freezer stopped working. While shopping, I inquired about the scratch and dent sales—brand-new appliances with minor imperfections. Such appliances sell at a discounted price. (I’m always looking for a deal!)
While shopping, the sales associate showed me a fridge with a small dent on the left side. In my kitchen, the dent would be next to the wall. No one would ever see it.
This fridge was $700.00 off—$700.00 off!
What did I do? Yep, I bought it.
Although the fridge had an imperfection, I could still use it. Although it had a dent, it still worked. Although it was flawed, it still had value.
Likewise, although you may not be perfect, God still finds value in you.
