From time to time, you probably watch videos on YouTube. Oftentimes, before the video actually plays, you’re forced to sit through a commercial that doesn’t interest you.
After about five seconds, however, a “skip ad” button pops up, giving you the option to skip the commercial, so that you can watch the desired video. If you’re like me, you skip the commercial.
In a similar way, when you encounter naysayers and unsupportive people, you should skip over them and take your concerns directly to God.
When somebody tells you that you can’t do it, click the “skip” button. When somebody tries to block you, click the “skip” button. When somebody attempts to steal your hope, or joy, or energy, click the “skip” button.
Skip, . . . skip, . . . skip, skip, skip!
