Last year, before the pandemic, our church fitness guru spearheaded a churchwide steps challenge. The goal was to walk at least forty thousand steps a week.
As you may know, the Health app on our cellphones tracks our steps.
The other day, as I browse through my app, I notice a message that reads, “On average, your steps this year are about the same as last year.” Another message indicates, “On average, your steps this month are about the same as last month.” (Evidently, I’m not improving!)
Nevertheless, the Health app keeps a record of my activity.
Just as this app is keeping a record of my activity, so also you should keep a record of God’s activity in your life. You should keep a record of how the Lord has blessed you. You should count your blessings and name them one by one.
