In my neighborhood, Wednesday is trash day. Every Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning, I push the trash can outside my house to the side of the road.
As you know, when trash accumulates, it stinks. It sours its environment.
Worry is the trash that sours our environments and our lives.
Therefore, don’t carry worry around with you. But push it to the side of the road.
On the issue of worry, Paul is helpful in Philippians 4:6, saying, “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
