I took my daughter to a youth leadership workshop a few weeks ago. She received a Walmart gift card for participating.
When she got in the car, she said, “Here, you can have it.”
I said, “Really?”
She said, “Yeah.”
I was so impressed by her generosity that a few days later, I bought her several items worth much more than the gift card.
I refused to allow her kindness toward me to exceed my kindness toward her.
In the same way, God refuses to allow what you do for God to exceed what God is willing to do for you.
