A while back, I begin baking cinnamon rolls in the oven and then go clean the bathroom.
While I’m cleaning the tub, I forget that I have cinnamon rolls in the oven.
When I finally remove the rolls from the oven, they’re nice and golden on the top. But they’re crispy (or, as some would say, ahem, burnt) on the bottom!
Rather than throw the rolls away, however, I cut the bottoms off and keep the tops. I then munch away on the tops.
When life gives you burnt cinnamon rolls, don’t just focus on the burnt part. But thank God for the good part. Don’t just focus on what you lost. But thank God for what you have left.
