A few days ago, I noticed that a retailer near my house was having a going-out-of-business sale. And oftentimes, when retailers have sales, their ads read something like “While Supplies Last,” or “Get Them Before They’re Gone,” or “Gone Tomorrow,” indicating the limited supply of the store’s inventory.
The difference between such retailers and God is that God’s blessings never run out. God never runs out of grace, and mercy, and favor. In Psalm 136:1, the songwriter affirms that God’s “steadfast love endures forever.”
