This past Christmas, some people from our church generously gave me gift cards to Joseph A. Bank menswear.
After six months had passed, I still hadn’t used the cards, because I was waiting on Joseph A. Bank to have their eighty-five-percent-off clearance sale.
Prior to then, the savings had been seventy percent off.
Seventy percent wasn’t enough for me. I held out for eighty-five percent off.
For me, the savings were worth the wait.
I don’t know what you’re waiting for. Maybe you’re waiting for God to give you clarity, or give you favor, or open a door, or grant a request.
What I do know, however, is that God can make it worth the wait.
